Hair: Karrl’s hair has turned pure silvery blond. Strangely enough this is in fact his natural hair colour. Karrl was born was light blond hair, and, unlike the common occurrence of his hair darkening, his hair lightened. It is classified as blond, but in fact is beyond platinum and is in fact silver.
Looks Older Than He Is: Even though only 16 years old, he has always looked a little older than he actually looks like he is twenty one instead of being in his mid teens. This is to do with his natural hair colour, mature features and physical build.
Tattoo: Karrl has a singular tattoo on his right wrist. This tattoo is of the name of his Girl Friend back in his dimension, Rebecca. There is nothing fancy about it, except for the stylish font it is written it. It symbolises that this girl is linked to his life and to take her away is to take his life.
Any other important things to note about the physical character: When his eyes are not red, from his heat and inferred vision they are in fact Azure Blue.
Physical Skills: Karrl has several physical capabilities. These skills are based around his training as a martial artist, or his training to become a mechanic. Along with that he has several hobby areas, within sports he has some skill in.
Muay Thai [4]: Karrl has been trained since he was seven years old, in the art of eight limbs. It was thanks to his father, who, alongside being a mechanic, is also a Muay Thai instructor. Both martial arts Karrl knows is due to his father.
Brazilian Jujitsu [3]: The second Martial Art Karrl knows. Where he is not as experienced in the art as he is with Muay Thai, he is still classified as an expert in the style. He has, six years of experience in the martial art, and, it was because his father Instructed at a the local fight school, that he learnt it.
Motor Mechanics [4]:This is yet another skill he learnt due to his father. His father, outside of being a Muay Thai instructor is also a motor mechanic, and, in fact does it as a profession. Karrl grew up around engines, and, even studied it at Six Form. Where he is an expert in the subject, since, he wishes to make this is profession as well.
Driving [3]: This is an interesting area, since, even though an expert within the area in some ways, the range of vehicles he can drive makes him only competent within the generalised area. He is skilled at driving, vehicles, like bikes, cars, lorries, that sort of thing, however, he cannot drive militarised vehicles, outside of a Humvee, as well as unable to drive any airborne vehicles.
Singing [3]: A skill he learnt due to his mother, who is a singer songwriter. He was found to have a nice voice at a young age, and, due to his mother wanting a hand in his passions, she taught him how to sing. He is a good singer, within his area of style, which is Grunge and Post Grunge, having a voice similar to Joseph Scott, of the Band Saliva.
Guitar [3]: The second skill he gained due to his mother. He is a competent guitarist, and, can play several styles. However, due to his love of Grunge music, he has to most experience within this style. Where he is not an expert in the field, what he does, he does well.
European Football [2]: Like all, well most, English lads, he grew up with a love of football, both watching it and playing it. Where he is nowhere at the level of being able to play for one of the big teams, such as his beloved Chelsea, he, some might say, has enough skill as a right midfielder, to play for one of the smaller Second League teams such as Bury or Northampton, maybe even Plymouth Argyle.

Nationality, Religion, feelings about religion: British - Agnostic - His feelings about religion are stereotypically like an Agnostic’s, where he is open to the concept of religion, he is not convinced by it. He will not judge a person because of their religion, but all he asks is not to be judged because he does not believe.
Languages Spoken:
German [3]: He is in fact able to speak German. This is to do with the fact his father is German, and so, grew up learning it. It is one of the three languages, outside of English he because fluent in due to his family background.
Spanish [3]: The second of the languages he learnt growing up, due to his family background. He learnt German due to his father, but, this is one of the two languages he became fluent in due to his mother.
Italian [3]: Finally, when it comes to the languages learnt due to his parents, he is able to speak Italian. He learnt this language, like when it comes to Spanish, due to his mother, since she is half Spanish half Italian.
French [2]: This is a language he learnt due to his studies at school. Where he is not as able in it as he is with German, Spanish and Italian, he still has a solid level of understanding and capability when it comes to the language enough to hold a somewhat decent conversation in it.

Family Details:
Overview: Karrl is the oldest child and only son of Vincent and Isabella. Vincent is a mechanic, and part time Muay Thai Instructor, hailing from Munich, and is the disinherited son of the import export tycoon Nikolas Garm. He was disinherited due to the fact that he ran away with his Karrl’s mother and marrying her against Vincent’s father’s will. However, this was not to do with the common background of his mother, but the fact that she was not a mutant, since, Karrl’s grandfather would only accept a marriage if the woman was a mutant. The Garms have a long line of mutants in their family, mainly because of this rule. Karrl happens to be the 13th generation of mutant within the Garm Family.
Vincent, after being disinherited, went to live in Southall, since, he wanted to stay under the radar, and hide from his father. He found this place and believed it would be a good area to hide in since he believed Nickolas would not think to look there. His mother is a talented singer songwriter, who, even though never made it as a professional musician, earns a comfortable living as a song writing teacher. Karrl’s parents met when Isabella was in Germany performing a little tour, trying to earn a fan base outside of Spain, but met Vincent and fell madly in love, soon after, running away to England to get married, and soon after, having their only son, Karrl.
The Garms live in a six bedroom house of the Lady Margret Road, and, for such a rough area, live quite comfortably. They originally lived in a three bedroom house, but, when Karrl’s younger siblings came into the picture, they bought up the house next door. It was going cheap because it was abandoned, and in dire need of repairs. However, with some money saved and the needed amount of time they joined the two houses together to make the five bedroom house they have now. It is not a fancy looking place, but, it does the job well, and, due to the reservations they made to it, it could be sold off more now, than the two houses were bought for.
They all work hard, to pay off the mortgage on the house, Karrl if not doing his school work, helping his father in the Garage, with the siblings doing what they can do to bring some extra cash in. There life is quite typical for a working class family, if it was not for the racism they suffered because of the area they live in. The reason why they picked the area of Southall was because, for London, it was extremely cheap and easy to get a house they wanted. However, due to the fact that his father is half German half English and his mother is half Spanish half Italian they suffered racism great, due to the fact that Southall is mainly for people of the Indian and Somalian persuasion. However, over time, the racism lessened, and, at least on their street, they were left alone.
Karrl has four siblings, Gabriella, Helena, Ibbie & Jovanna. Gabriella is two years younger than Karrl, “Hel” has Karrl calls her, is the second oldest of his four younger sister, being three years younger than him and then there are the twins Ibbie and Jovanna, who are five years younger than he is. They are all a close knit group of siblings, often turning to Karrl when they need help with something, whether it be school work or their love life. Karrl looks fondly and with great love and care when it comes to his sisters, and, if anyone dared hurt them he would kick their asses. He is the bad ass brother than most boys fear to cross.
Family:
Vincent Garm [Father] - The father of the Garm family. He is a hard working and caring man, who has earned the love and respect of not only his wife but his five children. He is a mechanic by trade, owning his own garage, along with that is a part time Muay Thai instructor as the fight school in Southall. Vincent, is also a mutant, with the powers of Technopathy
Isabella Garm [Mother] - The mother of the Garm family and wife of Vincent. She is a talent singer songwriter, and a music teacher. She is in fact the only member of the Garm Family that is not a mutant, but, she does not know this, since, the Garm siblings have all just recently had their mutations awoken.
Gabriella “Gabby” Garm [Younger Sister] [15] - Gabriella is a six for student in her second year there, studying the creative arts, since she is just as good a musician as Karrl is, but she excels in visual arts, such as painting, drawing, and even computer imagery. She is a sweet young thing, kind of shy, but, like Karrl, and all of their siblings, is a strong willed and determined youth. Gabriel is a newly awakened mutant, with the power to speak to animals of all kinds, with the future power to control them and share their sensory data.
Helena “Hel” Garm [Younger Sister] [14] A student who has just entered Six Form she is a lively and hellacious young woman, with a lust for life and a temper quicker than a Cheetah on Speed. Her temperament is why Karrl calls her Hel. She may be the younger than Karrl, but, due to the fact she studies Aikido, Karrl and Helena often spar to see who is actually the toughest within the siblings, currently is it 29 - 6 in Karrl’s favour. Like her older sister and brother, she is also a mutant, with the power of Pyrokinesis.
Ibbie “Ibs” Garm [Younger Sister] [13] - The joint youngest, along with her twin sister Jovanna, she is a bright and bubbly young girl, with a passion for life, and, more so, anime. She is a talent writer and artist, but specialises in anime artwork. Even though a long way off from getting into Six Form, she already shows talent in her area than any of the other Garm siblings did at her age. Also, she is a bit of an Otaku. Like with all the Garm siblings, she is also a mutant, her powers are Umbrakinesis.
Jovanna “Mojo” Garm [Younger Sister] [13] - Even though the twin sister of Ibbie, she is nothing like her. Mojo, as Karrl calls her, is an occult fanatic, and the most rebellious of the siblings. She is into the dark and mysterious world of magic, and, is an expert in occult lore, hence her name Mojo. However, despite her sullen and rough exterior she is a nice kid, and, like all of the siblings, cares about her sisters and older brother dearly. Mojo, has the powers of Magic, and this is in fact outside of her mutant capabilities, her mutant power is telepathy, telekinesis, and teleportation.
Note: There are additional Members of the Family on the Garms, the Alvarez and Greaves sides available upon request. The Alvarez side is his mother’s, and the Greaves side is his wife’s.
Additional Social Information: Karrl, within the British Martial Arts scene, is highly respected as a talent youth. Where he is not the best within this area, he is ranked 3rd within to British Under 18th league. Also, Karrl, has the dream of running his own garage.
Social Skills:
Charming: [4] Karrl, is an extremely charming and witty young man. His hair is not the only thing that is silver, and, when he was in human form, could often be found sweet talking women, whether it be for a bit of flirty fun, or, getting his way with his teachers.
Fast Talker: [3] Another area due to his silver tongue. He has a level of ability of, not only getting to the point quickly, he can talk himself out of a tough situation, when he needs to. Where this is not a supernatural ability, some might say it is close to being one.
Streetwise: [4] Due to the rough town he grew up in, he learnt how to become streetwise at a young age. He actually feels more comfortable around this environment than some high class areas, and so, will more than likely be able to befriend some street punk than a upper class debutant. Also, due to this skill, when it comes to the streets, he can get a good working knowledge of his surrounding quite quickly.
Subterfuge: [4] This is in fact a blend of his natural social abilities. He does not like to lie, but, he can lie extremely well. He can hide his motives, as well as suss out if someone who talking bull. He could, in the future, be a skilled interrogator, but, he has yet to get the needed experience in this area to know if he will be good or not.
Sciences [Biology, Chemistry, Physics] [4]: This is one of a number of skills he has that come from the fact he comes from far into the future. Where, in his time, his skills in this are competent at best, due to the fact that general knowledge within these areas have advanced greatly, in the time of this site he could very well be classified as an expert in these areas.
Computers [4]: Another skill that he is an expert in, when it comes to a retrospective point of view. Like with his sciences he was classified as about average, some may have called him competent, but due to the fact that the computers he is used to using, and the computers in this modern day society are worlds apart, the fact of the matter is, the computers used in the 90s are like tinker toys to Karrl.
Social Weaknesses (if Any):
Lone Wolf: Even though Karrl has no problems getting along with people, if he has to, and making friend, he actually prefers his own company. Where, he can cope in social situations and the like, he can often be found trying to escape them, and just hang out somewhere and listen to his music, maybe even write a new song. That being said, he is not a unfriendly guy, just a tad anti-social.
Heavy Smoker: Another culturally influenced problem. Due to the fact he grew up in an area where it was commonplace to see young people smoking, he picked up the habit at a young age. Where he is not a massive smoker compared to some, he averages out at 20 a day.
Problem with Authority: Karrl has a little problem with Authority. He could barely stomach his teachers and even his parents telling him what to do. He followed their instructions, simply because it was a lot less hassle than refusing. However, if he truly did not want to do something he would not do it. If an upper class man, or someone along those lines told him what to do, they would more than likely be on the receiving end of his sharp tongue, or, maybe even on the receiving end of a sharp right hook.
Untrusting: Despite what his outward demeanour may suggest he is not a trusting person. This is due to the fact that he has seen what people can do when someone who trusts them has their back turned. He does not trust easily, mainly because he is afraid, afraid that if he trusts them they will stab him in the back either metaphorically or actually literally, both things he has seen before.
Overly Sarcastic: Despite being funny, he has been known to take sarcasm to another level. Karrl is overly sarcastic, and, even though his sarcasm can amuse, the thickness of it can irritate people and even put up barriers between them. If someone does not like sarcasm they will never be able to get along with Karrl, and that is not a speculation, it is plain fact.

Personality:
Good Points: First off all, when it comes to the good points of his personality, and some might say his may characteristic is the fact that he is extremely charming. He is a smooth talking young man, that can, even with his bad points, be very hard to stay mad at, and, can warm the hearts of many a person. Along with his charm, he is extremely witty, often cracking a joke or two which might actually surprise a person on its level of wittiness, if they did not know him. Which leads to the fact that he is quite a funny young man, and, can often be found in the centre of a group making them laugh with either a joke, or some kind of antic, to call him the class clown, well, it would not be that far a stretch to call him that.
He is also an extremely passionate person, and, puts his heart and soul into everything he does, and, when he finds something he likes he will show that passionate side of him. Despite being a living character, he is also quite laid back. When not in a group he can often be found lounging under a tree with a smoke in his mouth and his lyric pad in his hands. Also, he is can, when the mood takes him, quite philosophical and insightful, which actually, when someone firsts sees this side of him, surprises them. He will not show it often, but, when he does, he will often say something that makes a person pause for thought, and think about what he has actually said, if they understand the meaning behind it that is.
However, there is only more thing to say, when it comes to the good side of his personality, and could be described as the second defying characteristic within in this side of him, is that he is generally a kind person, and, he will often not think too much in going out of his way to help a friend in need. He is not a pushover by any stretch of the imagination, however, he will take it upon himself to help a friend, if they are in need of help, whether it is with their studies, or if they want help with their love life, or even if they want to learn how to fight better or getting physically fitter. Overall, he if he can, he will help a person in need, well, if he likes them that is.
Bad Points: Karrl, even though generally a good guy, has some quite defining bad points within his personality. First of all he is an extremely single minded and stubborn individual. True, he can be very diplomatic when he needs to be, however, most of the time, he will argue his point to he is blue in the face, some say he only really become diplomatic when he feels that he cannot get his own way completely, which, in all fairness, is like a lot of people. However, more often than not, he will dig his heels in and not budge from his position. Never the less, he is not arrogant, and, will concede a point when he sees that he is wrong.
Even though a laid back individual he can be considered quite quick tempered. Over, he will not fly off the handle at the drop of the hate, in all fairness, by most accounts he does not have an anger management problem. The over factor is when it comes to him and his quick temper is due to the fact that people often do not give him a fair chance and misjudge him. When people do misjudge him he can often get extremely irritable about it. However, if there is one thing he truly gets angry about is when someone brings his family into the equation, if someone brings them into it in a negative fashion prepare to lose a few teeth.
Despite some saying he is an extremely witting young man, he can be consider overly sarcastic, which, in all fairness, is not wrong by any stretch of the imagination. This is not really do to a vindictive nature, it is more to do with the fact he’s a working class Brit. His sarcasm is a large amount of his wit, but, the amount he uses it by can get under people’s skin. Along with that, if there is anything sharper than his martial arts skills it is his tongue, and this is where the more vindictive side of his intelligence comes into play, and can easily hurt a person without even raising a fist against them.
Finally, there is the fact that, even though generally a warm hearted and passionate person, he does keep an emotional distance between himself and most people. Even though someone can connect with Karrl, most people with the insight to do so, can feel that emotional detachment between the two of them. However most people, who know him well enough, do not hold it against him, since it is not hard to figure out why he keeps such an emotional distance. The reason why he keeps said distance is to do with his untrusting nature. He will not let someone in, emotionally, until he knows he can completely trust them, which, is a hard thing for him to do.
Likes: Karrl first love in life are cars and bikes. The truth is, he loves bikes more than car, his favourite bike being the Honda CB750, which is in fact the bike he actually owns. Growing up the way he did, there is little wonder, why he loves bikes, more so their engines. Due to his personality he loves extreme sports. He loves to snowboard and skateboard. He is pretty good at them both, not to the point where he could a pro, but he could succeed in the amateur rankings of the sports. One of his more mundane likes in the world is football (soccer to the Americans out there) his team is Chelsea, which does bring an intense rivalry between him and his father during the European cup, since his team is Beyer Munich. Since he was a young lad he has loved this, martial arts, he has not loved it as long as bikes, but he has loved it from a very young age. He is a typical teenager, and because of this he loves to party, he loves the fairer sex and he loves a good smoke with his beer and birds.
Dislikes: He is a slightly arrogant person, well, a very confident person, and because of this he hates people who doubt themselves. He may mainly concern himself with his own problems, but, if he sees someone, who has not annoyed him in any way, with a crisis of confidence he will try his best to help them out, because he cannot stand self-doubt, in himself or anyone else. Another thing he cannot stand is discrimination. Being brought up in an area like Southall he has been the subject of discrimination and racism. Due to this if he sees anyone treating people badly due to their difference like their race, colour, creed, or, since he has become a mutant, species. Due to his personality he has a kind of mundane dislike and that is being bored. He has to almost always be doing something, the only time he is not active is when he is sleeping, or, when he has to, do his school work.
Fears and Phobias: No real phobias to speak off.
Mental Skills / Knowledges
Sense Deception: [3] Due to his streetwise nature, he can often know when someone is trying to pull the wool over his eyes. Where this is not a superhuman ability, nor boosted by his mutation, it is hard to get anything by him, and, he can, almost instinctually pick up on when someone is lying to him.
Artistic Expression: [3] This is an expansion of his abilities in singing and guitar playing. He has competent level of ability when it comes to song writing, this expands into his abilities in writing, which, mixed with his writing ability, and artistic expression, he can write some really good songs, with emotionally evoking lyrics.
Mental Weaknesses (if Any):
Perfectionist: The reason why Karrl has such a wide range of abilities at such a high level is due to a perfectionist nature. When he sets out to do someone, learn a new skill or perform a task, he is almost single minded in his desire to get it perfect. This can sometimes get in the way of other, “less important” things he has to do.
Short Tempered: Where Karrl is generally a laid back individual, there are some things that can spark him off, and, because of this, he could be considered short tempered. These areas are mainly to do with people misjudging him, but when someone bringing his wife into the equitation in a negative way, this can often lead to him smacking them.
Act Before Thinking: Karrl is not stupid, by any stretch of the imagination, ok, he’s no genius, but that is beside the point, Karrl can often act rashly and do something without thinking of the situation at hand or the consequences that would come with it. This state of mind could very well lead him into more trouble than his iron fists or silver tongue can get him out of.

SUPERNATURAL/XGENE POWERS
Theme or overarching Idea: Heatwave: A theme based around a vanguard style character who specialises in the absorption and manipulation of energy.
Beginning Mutations:
Absorption of Sunlight: This is the ability to absorb and manipulate energy. The source of energy he usually uses is the energy around him. The actually energy he absorbs is the Ultraviolet Rays from the sun. It can be transformed into a number of different forms, but either work on an external or internal basis. There are a variety of energies he can absorb to use the abilities around his Dynamo Generation, but, at this point in time, it only absorbs the energy around him, which, even though not overly powerful could be considered to be the most abundant source at his disposal. However, he needs time to charge this power, which will be discussed further in the weakness section, but, when he is full charged it will last 22 hours.
[The following powers are the abilities within his Absorption of Sunlight]
Pyrotechnic Blasts: Where this is not full blow Pyrokinesis, he has the ability to generate and release blast of fire from his body. The way it works it, through the absorption of the energy around him he releases it through his fists, feet, elbows, knees, and so forth. The energy is then converted into fire and sent out as a stream of flames. The temperature of the fire is 200 degree, and the distance it travels is up to 120 feet.
Thermal Vision: This is the ability to perceive the inferred spectrum as well as the body heat of others and heat signatures of various kinds, so, if he acts quickly enough he will be able to see the residual heat left by the touch of a finger on a keypad. This ability also works on people who are invisible or cloaked, since he may not be able to see them, but is still able to pick up their heat signatures. The main thing that makes this Thermal Vision stand out is the way it actually works. Where most forms of this power change the eyesight completely, when activated, it blends the two eyesight modes together, so, he will see normally, but he will also pick up the various heat signatures.

Drawbacks of the Mutations, Weakness or ties in to other “problems” listed above and how that equals out what you have to begin with:
Charging Time: [General] His ability to use energy in combat needs a bit of a kick start to actually work. In order for his powers to be fully effective he needs 2 hours of direct sunlight on his skin. Note, to receive the full effect of the charge he needs to be, ideally, in just a pair of boxers in order to absorb the most amount of sunlight. If he does not get the needed amount of sunlight there is a good chance his powers will not work, or, at the very least become ineffective.
Usage: [Pyrotechnic Blast] Even though the source of the energy he can use is virtually limitless, there is a usage to draining ratio that limits how much he can actually use. At this point in time he can send out about fifty burst of flames before being completely drained. He will start feeling the effects of the drain when he reaches his thirtieth burst, and it will become more and more apparent until he reaches his current limit.
Thermal Cloaking: [Thermal Vision] Where he can see people who are invisible there are several ways to avoid him spotting someone. If that person has the ability to not only cloak themselves but their heat signatures, this will prevent him from seeing them. Also, if a person has a low body heat, he will be more difficult to spot. Finally, if someone has Ice based powers that are applicable, this can also mess up his ability to see them.
Solid Objects: [Thermal Vision] This is a simple enough limitation to this power. He is unable to see through solid objects, so, if someone was actually hiding behind something, say a large crate, that hides their entire body, this could actually work better than if someone could turn themselves invisible, or cloak their presence from his normal sight. Also, along this line of limitations, he can only see as far as he could normally see within his regular vision.
Light Sensitive: [Thermal Vision] When in Thermal Vision mode he becomes sensitive to light. Where he can look around in the daylight, with little trouble, he can suffer from strong lights. If he is subjected to a large or sudden burst of light this can leave him in a great deal of pain, which can range from gaining a massive headache to even temporally blinding him.

HISTORY OF THE CHARACTER:
Karrl was born and raised in Southall, a small, and rather rough part of London, well, Greater London, since it is on the boarders of Slough and Middlesex. Before his life had even begun it was for certain he was going to have it rough. This was not to do with his class, since, most people in his hometown were working class, but, it was his heritage. His mother is half Italian and half Spanish, and his father is half English half German. It was rough because of the large amount of racism in his town, but, not from the English, but the main nationalities that lived in Southall, Indians and Somailians. However, he was born to two loving parents, so all was good.
His mother was an aspiring Singer Songwriter, and his father was an extremely skilled Mechanic. Their lives were comfortable enough, they did not have amazing amounts of money, but, they could provide what was needed, and, even had some left over for a family holiday once a year. For a working class family they lived comfortable lives, not exactly the lap of luxury, but hardly from a two bean dinner every night. Yes, Karrl’s life was decent enough, well, at home it was at least. Outside, well, that was a different matter entirely. The racism he suffered both on the streets and in, when he was old enough, school, was enough to drive a man to tears, and it had done just that once or twice.
About a year after he was born his little sister Gabriella was and then his sister Helena, and finally the twins Ibbie and Jovanna. By time the twins were born he was four years old, and had fallen in love with the idea of being a big brother to all of his little sisters. He loved them all dearly, and, even though still only a child himself, did whatever he could to look after them, whether it was helping his mother change them, or doing something funny or wacky to keep them entertained. However, it would not be til a lot later when he would find his true calling as an older brother.
When he was in Primary School, it was, to start off with, name calling, and, names that were a little more mean than stinky and booger head. He was called things like Mongrel, Half Breed, and other things like that. When he spoke to his father about it, his father went to the his teacher. She said she had heard no such names, where the fact it, she was one of the people who dealt him these racial slurs. So, it continued, until one day, when he was a little older, he went home, with a large amount of cuts and bruises, he had been beaten up badly. His father told him, he should not let them do this, and told Karrl, if he wanted, he would help him. Karrl’s dad, on the side of his mechanics was a Muay Thai Instructor. So, from that day on he took up Muay Thai.
Surprisingly enough Karrl was a quick study, taking to the Martial Art easily. Over the first few months he learned all that he could. However, one day, he returned home from school, with a cut lip and a big smile on his face. The next thing that happened the phone rang, on the other side was the headmaster of his Primary School, telling Vincent, Karrl’s father, that he had beaten up his teacher. Vincent was angry, but, Karrl explained what had happened. It turned out that, his teacher had been assaulting him, but, it was more than that, not only was it a racial attack from the teacher, but, the thing that had set Karrl off was, the fact he found out this Gabriella, who had just joined the same Primary School, had started to suffer at the teacher’s hands. When Karrl saw the teacher smacking his little sister he snapped and the beating started, but that time, it was on the teacher.
So, with this bit of information he turned to the newspapers with the story, not, because he wanted to make some money, but because he did not just want her to be arrested, but publically humiliated. After a court hearing, it turned out a lot of the other, none Indian children had suffered the same abuse. So, she was stripped off her teacher licence, and sent to jail. However, it was not over there, the school, for letting such things happened, was fined a great deal of money, and, like with Karrl, a lot of the children were taken out of the school, and sent to another one. Karrl was still picked on in the school he had gone to next, but, it was not that bad, but, Karrl had grown to love Muay Thai, and, after promising his father he was not pick fights because of it, he would continue to teach him.
When he got into Secondary School, he made a lot of friends fast, but, there was one, above all, that stuck by him, a young girl by the name of Rebecca Greaves. She was the first friend he had made in the school he went to, and they always hung out, little did either of them know what their relationship was going to be in the future. However, Rebecca was not his only friend, but his best.
However, even though making a lot of friends, he was not well received by all of the school. There were a lot of the older students who didn’t like him, namely Jamie Carrion. This was because he was drawing the attention away from them, he was becoming the new popular kids, and this stung even more because most of the attention he was getting was from the female students. So they tried to make a fool out of him by beating him up, but they soon found out that was easier said than done. Over time most of the students gave up, but Jamie did not. Also, it would be Jamie that would play a key role in the awaking of Karrl’s powers.
Over the years, and by the time he was sixteen, all of his little sisters were well into the years in secondary school, however, it seemed that they were not pleased with him, well, the two older ones weren’t anyway. It turned out that they wanted to date, but, due to the fact that Karrl was their older brother the boys they were interested in backed away. It turned out, for some reason, the male students saw Karrl as the badass older brother than they did not want to mess with. Karrl simply told them, that, if the boys they were interested in were too stupid to see how great his little sisters were, and did not have the balls to overcome their fears of him, they were not worth the time. The reasons why it all happened was because of the reputation he gained over the years, these events were.
When he was a little older, his thirst for knowledge when it came to the martial arts grew more so, and he spoke to his father about taking up a second one, and asked him if there was any martial arts that would compliment his Muay Thai. He father thought about it and mentioned that he thought the best one for Karrl to go for was Brazilian Jujitsu. He also mentioned that the fight school Vincent taught at part time had classes in it. So, for the first time, he took his son to the fight school and introduced him to the teacher. Like with his Muay Thai he was a fast learning and picked up the locks and holds easily enough.
At the age of fourteen his teacher, the one that was not his father, suggested Karrl entered the British under 18 Freestyle Martial Arts Championship. Karrl was interested in this, and, after gaining the approval of his father, and the hesitant approval of his mother, he entered. Over the two years he in fact entered two British Championships and won both of them. He was offered, after that a spot within a MMA fighting circuit, when he got a little older that is, but, as much as he loved martial arts, he knew what he wanted to be, a mechanic, like his father.
For as long as he could remember Karrl have loved cars, bikes, and all things long those line, bikes most of all. He could often be found, in his spare time, in his father’s garage, helping out, and learning about those kinds of things. When he was asked about what he wanted to be when he grew up, as most people did when they were young, most of the student said Astronaut, Fairy Princess, and things along those lines, but Karrl, he had said he wanted to be a mechanic. At the age of sixteen, he actually got a part time job working for his father as a junior mechanic. However, there was one thing he loved outside of motors and martial arts, and this was thanks to his mother, and that was music.
When he was younger, his mother introduced him to the guitar, since, she wanted some influence when it came to his passions in life. He was not a quick study like he was with the other areas, but, he still loved it. So, over the years he learned how to play the guitar, and, as it turned out, he had quite a nice voice, not traditionally so, but, it was perfect for something along the lines of Grunge. So, his mother taught him how to play Grunge music, and introduced him to bands like Nirvana, L7 and Babes In Toyland, all of which he loved greatly. Through this he developed his own style, and soon, was listening to music and learning the songs by himself. However, his musical tastes and talent were not the only things to develop.
His friend Rebecca, she had blossomed into a beautiful young woman, and, had the eye of a lot of the other students, both in their class, and the year above them, however, no matter who asked her out, she turned them down, there were rumours spreading around that she was in fact a Lesbian. However, one day, Karrl asked her out, since, he had also been developing feelings for her. When he asked her out, her response was, what took him so long. After that, they started dating, and, it soon blossomed into something more than just two teenagers going out, they were in fact in love, which was strengthened by their long time friendship.
Within school life he had several things going for him, outside of his love life. First of all, he was very popular, this was mainly to do with two things, outside of his good looks and charm. The first of them was, he was in a band, an alternative rock band, where he played rhythm guitar and lead vocals, and were often spotted playing at local open mic nights or clubs. The second of these things was, he was in fact on the school football team [soccer for those Americans out there] and played right forward, and, even though not the highest scoring member of the team, made up for it with the amount of assists he had under his belt, Karrl knew he would never be a professional, but he loved the sport, as any true Brit does.
When Karrl hit sixteen, he graduated from Secondary School, which, a surprising amount of GCSEs, nine to be exact, all A and B grades, he got A grades in Spanish and German, due to the fact he was taught these two languages growing up due to his parent, as well as French, as a GCSE not as a language he grew up learning. He also gained four B grades in the cores subject, Maths, English, Modular Science and IT. As well as two final A grades in Business Studies, Music, and one more B grade in Sports Science. He had the pick of the Six Forms he could go to, however, he waited, and soon, when Rebecca had picked her, he joined her there, studying his A Levels in Foreign Languages, Motor Mechanics, Music, Accounting and Business Studies. He picked up a new language along the way, to expand his range, as a blend of wanting to impress, and wanted to learn more, and that was Japanese. However, this was not to be, since, the events before he was to enter Six Form, would change his life forever.
It was a few days before his first day at Six Form. To unwind and try and keep himself calm and collected, he went out with his friends for a kick about in the park. Also, later on that day he would be going out with Rebecca for a date. However, as he continued to play some football, he check on the time and realised he only had half an hour to get home, get ready and meet up with Rebecca before there date, so, he rushed off back home. As he made his way home he stopped and saw a sight that annoyed him, it was Jamie and Rebecca, and it seemed that Jamie was harassing her. So, he decided to go over there and make him leave, however, what he saw next changed that course of action completely.
Out of nowhere Jamie struck Rebecca to the ground, and that, that made Karrl snap. He barrelled over there and smashed Jamie straight in the jaw knocking him to the ground, however, he did not stop there. All the anger and hatred he felt for Jamie for all the years of bullshit he had to deal with because of the older guy, it came to the surface. He mounted Jamie and using one hand he pinned the other guy to the floor by his throat and started to repetitively slam his fist into the older students face. However, as the punches became harder and more frequent something else sparked in him, and his power awoke. With the last punch it was not fist that hit flesh, it was fire. Just before the point of impact a massive burst of flames shot from his fist. This not only killed Jamie, in a chorus of screams, but the force behind the blast of flames sent Karrl flying backwards and, after colliding with a lamppost became unconscious. This is where the story really begins.

Karrl was on the football field training with his team. He looked up and smiled brightly as he crossed it in for the centre-forward to header it in. A massive cheer from the skins before and after the coach blew the whistle. He looked around for a second or two seeing a group on the bleachers watching them before he went to join the rest of the team. As he listened to the coach pointing out areas they need to improve in he smiled.
As expected, Karrl should be a bit more greedy with the ball, and up his scoring rate, since, even though the skins scored seven goals, only one of them was his, the rest were just set up by him. Nodding to the coach he took the ball under his arm before he watched the rest go off to the shower, “I’m gonna hang back, practice a bit more, see you guys later!” With that he dropped the ball and just practiced a bit the smile gone from his face.
“Come on Karrl, you know you can do better than that, get your head in the game.” With that he chipped the ball into the air before kicking it straight into the goal on the other side of the pitch, since; he was just behind the centre line. He took a deep breath before going to fetch the ball. However, he stopped when he saw one of the people who had been watching, a young red head, in the year above him, come to the edge of the pitch.
Looking at her for a second or two he saw she was looking at him, and, remembering her name was Joanna, he walked up to her. It did not take him long to reach her, a bit sweaty from all the practice he was doing, since he had been on the pitch a hour before the others as well as the fifteen minutes after them. He smiled at her and said, “Hey Joe, you ok, you look like you got something to ask me?” He was not being presumptuous; he was just pretty good at reading people.
It turned out she did have something to ask him, there was a party going on at one of the other football player’s houses that night, and she wanted to know if he would be going. He smiled as he said, “I might, got band practice after this, and, if I can swing it with my father, than sure, I’ll be there, tell you what, give me your number, and, I’ll text you when I find out either way.” So, once numbers were exchanged, he bided her farewell before he went back to practicing his shots.
