Broken Harmony
The kingdom of Hyrule has long known peace, ruled jointly by the human House of Hyrule and the immortal alicorn sisters Celestia and Luna. Tragically, this peace has been broken, as the fiend Ganon launched an attack on the Royal Castle. The royal guards managed to drive him off, but not before he killed the King and Queen and kidnapped their only child, Princess Zelda. Now the country is under the regency of the alicorns, the human lordship vacant. Ganon is wounded, but still at large, and Duke Gestahl of Vector is building up a sizable army of mercenaries, robots, and humans strangely empowered with magic.
