- Whirlwind ~ The first hint of further development of her wind affinity, Talia can pump up the velocity of the winds she generates to pick up and blow back objects and people around her, though with no control over them.

After several successful test flights, it was gifted to her by the University (which had underwritten the cost) in recognition of her contributions to aviation.
The gondola is about nine feet wide and 22 feet long, outfitted with a steam engine and several storage lockers for food, fuel and belongings, as well as a spoked steering wheel. A canvas tent is stored away, supported by struts that connect to the sides and protect the occupants from bad weather.
Six vertical propellers, spaced along the outside of the envelope near the front, back and at the middle, help provide lift, while two horizontal in the back provide thrust and a rudder gives steering. The envelope itself is oval in profile, and nearly 40 feet long. It is accessible from the gondola via rigging. A mast standing out at an angle from the stern allows Talia to fly a flag -- Verne's in the past, Eldale's currently.
Depending on baggage, the airship can carry 3 people, maybe 4 if one is a child or otherwise lightweight. For comfort, though, Talia would normally only take one passenger so she could also fit on chairs, refreshments, a brazier and the like.
The envelope is filled by phlogiston (hydrogen). Although the substance is highly flamable, there is little danger so long as it is not severely compromised. Enchanted lightning rods protect it during a thunderstorm -- a standard safety feature of Edenic airships and the only magic inherent to the craft.

Her fur is orange and white, always well-taken care of. Notably, her muzzle is pure white, even over the bridge, with no markings. Her hands and paws are a darker, much more brown orange, matching the colour of her hair. Her pads and claws are a solid, dark brown.
Her eyes remain blue, although they have slit pupils. Her hair is styled in distinctive manner, with a trio of overhanging bangs brushed to the right of her forehead. The rest of her hair is combed back, and is kept about shoulder length.
Mobians only dressed if they felt like it; but in Eden beastmen are typically clothed, if more revealingly than most humanoids. Talia compromises with her subconsicous memories of nudity by wearing sleveeless two-toned tops, white in front and orange behind. The rest of her outfit consists of simple skirts, which can be thigh to hock length depending on the occassion; white gloves (short and fignerless normally, long for formal wear); and sometimes pawboots; and -- her favourite -- aviator's goggles perched on her head.

When working as a mechanic, she wears a full-body leather apron to protect her fur from oil stains and the like; and replaces her gloves with heavy gauntlets. She also has a utility belt, which she wears outside of her work "just in case." For get-togethers where that would not be appropriate, she has a more decorative belt.
Personality: Talia is a quiet but friendly girl. She's still a little sensitive of her tails, but is mostly confident and social enough to enjoy hanging out at taverns or with friends. Not that she talks a lot, unless someone shares her interests, but she likes hearing news and tales and soaking in the ambience. She also has a thirst for exploration, and keeps her ears open in case someone is looking to form an adventuring party and needs an engineer.
But her first love is for natural science. Ever since she was a kit the world has been a beautiful place to her, and she has wanted to understand how it works. Her chief fascination is with artifice and machinery, but all knowledge is precious to her, and she has studied as many fields as she can find books on, as well as learning from specialists in other fields (like the alchemist Candy).
At the moment Talia is content simply to live. She has no solid goals, just wanting to study and tinker, and explore the wondrous world around her.
Life in Eden: Talia was originally born as Miles Prower on a variant of Mobius. After joining the Acorn Freedom Fighters, he was killed in his mid teens in the war against Robotnik, and reborn in Eden, this time as a vixen.
Unlike in her old life where he was orphaned and never knew them, her parents in Eden are alive and well. Talia grew up with them in the city of Verne, where she was enflamed with a love for science, especially mechanics. Initially she was shy about her two tails -- an anomaly which attracted first envy as a precocious Kitsune, then derision when it was learned all she could do was fly. However, her parents and friends helped her to overcome her shame, and blossom into a confident young woman.
She was apprenticed to Dr. Baldrick, a rotund Hume who served as Professor of Mechanics at the Verne University. Initially anxious at his appearance and bombastic demeanour, they eventually bonded. Kindly in heart and impressed by the genius of the young vixen, he helped her secure funding from the Guild and University to test a theory she had developed, that vertical propellers could increase the lift of airships, thus reducing the amount of phlogiston needed to gain altitude.
A few months after coming of age, she demonstrated a small craft augmented by her propeller design. The successful test flight was accounted as her master exam by the Guild, and Dr. Baldrick released her from her apprenticeship. Wanting to spread her wings -- and drawn by the promise of adventure -- she travelled across Eden in her airship, and settled in Auldgarden.
She now has a modest workshop on the outskirts of town near the skyport, where she is also employed part-time as mechanic and consulting engineer.
Memories: Talia has vague memories of her comrades in the Resistance, enough to recognise them (or versions of them) and put names to several. She does not remember the name of their foe, nor any details of her world outside of trying to rescue a kingdom from a dictator. She used to have nightmares of her death in the final battle, but those have passed.
She does not remember that she was a boy.
